Dr. Stewart F. McLeod O.D.
Penticton and Osoyoos


Dr. Stewart McLeod was born and raised in Penticton. He spent three years at U.B.C. in agriculture then decided to follow in his father Dr. Clyde McLeod's footprints and graduated from University of Waterloo as a Doctor of Optometry in 1975. Stewart enjoys sports and music. His interests are in telemark skiing and tennis, as well as playing bagpipes and bluegrass guitar. Dr. McLeod worked with Medical Missions International teaching basic eyecare in Santo Domingo.
   
Dr. John B. Twidale B. Sc., O.D.
Penticton and Osoyoos

Dr. John Twidale is originally from Trail, B.C. He graduated from the University of Waterloo in 1986 with both Doctor of Optometry and Bachelor of Science degrees. Upon graduation Dr. Twidale came to Penticton and joined Drs. Clyde and Stewart McLeod. A supporter of Third World Eyecare Dr. Twidale has gone on two eyecare missions. He currently serves on the Penticton Library Board.
   
Dr. Dale J. Liddicoat B. Sc., O.D.
Penticton and Osoyoos

Dr. Dale Liddicoat is originally from Victoria, B.C. In 1985, he began studying at University of Waterloo and graduated in 1991. Dr. Liddicoat obtained degrees of both Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Optometry. He joined Waterfront Eyecare in 1991. Dr. Liddicoat enjoys all aspects of optometry.
   
Dr. Tammy L. Crawford O.D.
Penticton and Osoyoos

Dr. Tammy Crawford is originally from Nelson, B.C. She graduated from the University of Waterloo in 1993 with a Doctor of Optometry degree. Dr. Crawford joined Waterfront Eyecare in 1999. She journeyed with Third World Eyecare society to Bolivia in 2000 to supply underprivileged people with prescription eyewear.
   
Dr. Michale L. Chivers O.D.

Dr. Michale Chivers is originally from Osoyoos. She spent three years attending Okanagan University College’s Bachelor of Science program, and then completed the fourth year at the University of Waterloo. She received her Doctor of Optometry degree at the University of Waterloo in 2003. Dr. Chivers began practicing at Waterfront Eyecare Centre’s Osoyoos and Penticton offices during the summer of 2003. An outdoor enthusiast, Dr. Chivers’ summer interests include roller-blading, biking and swimming. In the winter months, she enjoys skiing and snowboarding.
   

Dr. Jodi Edworthy O.D.
Penticton and Osoyoos

Dr. Jodi Edworthy is originally from the small mining town of Flin Flon, situated in northern Manitoba.  She obtained her first degree, a BSC, from the University of Saskatchewan in Saskatoon.  This was then followed by her doctorate at the Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago.  After practicing for six years and bearing the cold winters of Winnipeg, she joined the Waterfront team in 2007.  The Okanagan's warm climate asnd beautiful scenery is more favourable to her lifestyle of running and golfing.

Dr. Bryan Thome O.D.
Penticton and Osoyoos


Dr. Bryan Thome is originally from a small city north of Calgary, AB (Airdrie). He received his Bachelor of Science in Biological Science from the University of Calgary in 2005. He later received his Doctorate in Optometry in 2009 from Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon. It was during his time at Optometry School Where he met his wife, Dr. Melissa Gardiner. During Optometry school, Dr. Thome travelled to Honduras to participate in a humanitarian eyecare mission, providing care to underprivileged families. an avid hockey enthusiast, Dr. Thome enjoys watching and playing recreationally, in addition to snowboarding, camping and hiking. Dr. Thome and Dr. Gardiner are very happy to be part of the Okanagan community, and look forward to taking advantage of all that this region has to offer.
   
Dr. Melissa Gardiner O.D.

Dr. Gardiner is originally from a small town outside of Edmonton, AB (Devon). She spent four years at the University of Alberta working on her Bachelor of Science (BSc.) and then completed her BSc. in Vision Science in 2006 from Pacific University College of Optometry in Forest Grove, Oregon. Dr. Gardiner then received her Doctorate of Optometry degree from Pacific University in 2009 where she also met her husband Dr. Bryan Thome. During Optometry school Dr.'s Gardiner and Thome were heavily involved in school politics and activities and Dr. Gardiner was class president for all four years of her schooling. She also went to an eyecare mission to Costa Rica to provide eye care to underprivileged families during her third year of Optometry School. She now looks forward to getting involved in the Okanagan community, enjoying the extensive viticulture opportunities in the area, and taking advantage of the multitude of outdoor activities that the beautiful Okanagan offers.

Dr. Amanda J. Erickson O.D.
Penticton and Osoyoos

Dr. Amanada Erickson grew up in Victoria, BC. She attended University of Victoria and graduated from the University of Waterloo in 1998. With the Federation of International Self Help she went on an eye care mission in Kingston, Jamaica to provide eye care to underprivileged families. Before joining the Waterfront team in 2009 Dr. Erickson practiced optometry in Courtenay and then Calgary. While living in Calgary Dr. Erickson enjoyed the education and experience of working at a refractive and cataract surgical centre. The valleys recreational opportunities and small town feel drew her and her family to the Okanagan region.
